HEELS TO HOLSTER is an Amazon best-selling book and tells the true story of Shirley Watral.  Shirley was a successful IT manager with a new relationship which seemed to be everything she hoped for until signs began to point negative.

 

As she tried to ease her way out, his grasp became stronger, a warning sign she did not recognize at the time, but which would devolve into being held hostage and worse. Her life plunged into the terror of domestic abuse.

 

HEELS TO HOLSTER is Shirley’s story on how she found the courage to let others help her get away and to finally realize that waiting for someone to come to her rescue was the wrong approach and how she became her own superhero.
