Imagine if the local church became the place in culture to experience beauty and creativity. Hundreds of years ago churches were often centers for these experiences. Somehow, over time we’ve abandoned that role.
This November, JCFilms Studios is producing a new film to challenge people of faith to start embracing the arts again.
THE BUMBLING BALLERINA is a story about a young orphan girl that used dance and art to escape her circumstances and later used that passion to inspire her local church to create a community arts program.
According to Christianity Today, 86% of America’s churches don’t currently have any kind of arts ministry or programs, though there are talented artists in their congregations.
“There’s a growing desire to develop creative arts ministry programs, we just hope this film will be a launching pad to revitalize creativity in our churches,” Jason Campbell, President of JCFilms Studios.
THE BUMBLING BALLERINA features actors Eddie McClintock, Dean Cain, Kevin Sorbo, Daniel Roebuck, and newcomer Arabella Weaver as the bumbling ballerina.
