If I have learned anything in producing nearly 100 faith and family films, it is if you want to change hearts and minds of people it always starts with a story. People in every culture and throughout history have used stories to change the world.
Probably, the best example of storytelling is Jesus’ consistent practice of telling stories throughout His ministry. Thus, JCFilms’ motto, “Simple stories told under trees; changed the world!”
In November 2024, JCFilms Studios is partnering with Joshuacord Ministries to produce not just a movie called MY RIPPLE EFFECT but a national platform that will take people through a captivating and visual journey that explores the transformative power of God.
So, that is just precisely what we are doing!
MY RIPPLE EFFECT the movie is a faith and family film starring actors Dean Cain, Kevin Sorbo, Michael Sigler and Eddie McClintock that is being produced in Bridgeport, WV in November 2024.
This incredibly inspiring and heartwarming movie tells the story of a recently divorced dad (Dean Cain) that encounters a mysterious man named Raphael (Kevin Sorbo) at an old, abandoned church. There he discovers that his life has more meaning than he ever thought. Together with his best friend (Eddie McClintock), these two take a journey together in recognizing that ordinary people and events can produce amazing long lasting and generational impact.
But the movie is just part of a larger innovated, media driven, and creative sharing platform designed to allow people share and hear content that inspires and motivates others.
