When a successful musician (Richard Grieco) suffers a great tragedy, he retreats from life. While his concerned friends try desperately to reconnect with him, he seeks answers in his music and an unassuming teenage waitress. THE WONDER BAR is a film about overcoming grief and finding the importance to life.

In JCFilms Studios newest feature film, THE WONDER BAR, Director Richard Grieco is attempting to help answer that question. On one hand, do we live our lives with a fear of missing out in an effort to ‘do-as-much-as-possible-in-what-little-time-we-have,’ or should we have a different strategy.
The film works to show that it’s in our relationships with others that is important and echoes that theme throughout repeating the phrase, ‘you-only-have-one-life.’
This will be the first film written & directed by, and starring Richard Grieco!
What starts out as a dinner for one at THE WONDER BAR quickly grows into a contagious movement of love, acceptance, and forgiveness. Production of THE WONDER BAR film is set to start in September 2024 in Bridgeport, WV
