If you’re ages 12 – 17 and have an interest in faith and family films, then these Summer Camps are for you!

Each year, JCFilms Studios hosts two weeks of film camp that allows young people to experience all aspects of Christin filmmaking while being in an actual film. This wonderful summertime experience allows every camper to be cast in the film projects.

During a JCFilms Film Camp, teens are given the opportunity to spend time working directly with film professionals to help advance their film goals while making a Christian film. These weeklong experiences not only offer an exciting hands-on approach to filmmaking, but each camper gets a role in the film!

The FIRST WEEK (June 14 – 21, 2025) campers will be cast in a faith based film called 'MISSED OPPORTUNITIES!' During the week, campers will be partnering with Christian comedian Josh Novey, actors Dean Cain, Kevin Sorbo and Eddie McClintock in a film that shows how God uses all different types of people to advance His Kingdom and how His offer of salvation has a time limit. The SECOND WEEK (June 21 – 28, 2025) campers will be cast in our first musical film production called 'UNLIKELY HARMONY!' This is a story about a mismatched group of teens, each from a different social circle that find themselves stuck together at summer camp. From the jock to the gamer, the rich kid to the church girl, they have nothing in common… except a hidden love for music. Learn More HERE.

Sound exciting? So, whether you’re an aspiring actor, creative writer, or an ambitious young filmmaker these camps are for you!

Why?

TO INSPIRE young people to get involved in faith-based films.

TO PROVIDE an atmosphere of creativity and opportunity.

TO ALLOW campers to be cast in a feature film production.

What To Expect?

Each camper will be cast in the film or the musical.

Each camper will attend acting classes and go on mock training casting auditions.

Each camper will work opposite with so many talented Christian actors.

What are the Dates?

Pre-registration is open. Below is a link where you can reserve your spot and pay the initial $200 Deposit!

MISSED OPPORTUNITIES - FILM CAMP - June 14- 21, 2025. Campers are expected to arrive at the camp no later than 2pm on Saturday, June 14th. Camp concludes on the morning of Saturday, June 21st after breakfast.

UNLIKELY HARMONY - MUSICAL FILM CAMP - June 21- 28, 2025. Campers are expected to arrive at the camp no later than 2pm on Saturday, June 21st. Camp concludes on the morning of Saturday, June 28th after breakfast.

Where are the Campers Staying?

BOTH FILM CAMPS will be hosted at Camp Faith Ministries in Shinnston, WV. 321 Co Rte 73/2, Shinnston, WV 26431. 321 Sugar Camp Road.

Cost?

The total cost of $910 covers all meals, lodging, classes and helps in the production of the film. A $200 deposit is due to Register. The remainder of the camp fee will be due the day of camp registration.

What about the parents?

Parents will be staying at Courtyard Marriott - Bridgeport, WV. Be sure to tell them you are with FILM CAMP. We are also offering the opportunity for parents to stay at the camp for $250 per adult. Call for details.

Film Camp is designed for teens 12 to 17.

Production & script?

Soon after you register, you will be sent the information to view the scripts, cast rosters, shoot schedules and production notes. This private portal allows campers and parents to stay informed all the way up to production.
