An atheist doctor with a god complex thinks he has life figured out. He believes there is nothing more to this world than what you can see and touch.

One fateful night the doctor dies in an accident and his soul leaves his body. But as he hovers between death and the after life he witnesses something frightening -- a murder committed by an elusive serial killer.

Then as the doctor continues to ascend he sees the bright light. He sees for himself the door to the after life, and it is terrifying.

Suddenly the doctor wakes up, resuscitated, but he has a dilemma: Will he admit that what he saw is impossible to explain with science... or will he keep quiet and let this serial killer get away with murder?
